New Appointment:
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Noy as coach of our U/19 side for 2012. Steve has two sons playing with Knox and became part of the team very quickly after volunteering to take on the Colts Team Manager role at short notice. He has been involved in football administration and coaching for over 15 years having coached at all junior age group levels, been a club Director of Coaching and has enjoyed sustained success as a coach through a number of successful finals campaigns. Steve has three years involvement with Eastern Ranges as a player parent and Chair of the Parent Committee where he has developed ongoing associations and gained first hand insight into the TAC programs. Steve has a strong commitment to player and team development and will be working closely with the Senior Coaching Panel to develop the U/19’s game plan in line with the seniors He is looking forward to the challenges of 2012 and the opportunity to develop future 1st Division senior players.
New players Welcome:
Any players or parents wishing to talk to Steve about joining our colts U/19’s program next year please contact Steve on 0408 352 633.
Thank You to Kim Brimelow & his team for their tireless efforts with the colts this year. Amid very stressful problems with his new born baby, Kim managed to keep his cool & juggle the responsibilities, so that he didn’t let the boys or the club down. Thankfully all has worked out well for the Brimelow family and with an undermanned squad, the guys & staff battled it out all year. It shows real character from both coaches & players. Kim has filled many roles over his 30 years at the club. Past president(5 years), secretary, treasurer, general committee, colts assistant coach(4 years) & colts coach.
I would like to thank Kim both personally & on behalf of the club for all his efforts & look forward to seeing him in another role at the club at some time in the future.

Good Sports Program
The Knox Football Club is displaying commitment to responsible alcohol management with an application for Level Three accreditation under the Australian Drug Foundation’s Good Sports program.
Good Sports is the first nationwide alcohol management program of its kind and is supported by VicHealth, the Traffic Accident Commission (TAC), the Department of Health and Department of Health & Ageing. The program was developed following research conducted by the Australian Drug Foundation which indicated that by introducing responsible alcohol management policies, clubs were able to improve membership and enhance viability.
The club is determined to meet the criteria required for the Level Three accreditation.

In a nutshell, you open an account with SportingBet. The fees are paid once the first bet is complete(paid or lost), ie the end of the race, event, whatever. That bet can be as small as $1.00 to start proceedings, however the initial deposit into the account must be $30.00 or more. This is a standard condition and has nothing to do with incentives, if you open an account straight off the web, same applies. Everything else is standard, money can be withdrawn etc so nothing else changes. For each account opened, Myeloma and Knox FC receive $50 each.
It’s very important to register via any of the SportingBet links on this page as they link directly to Knox FC. This will count clicks from our page,(from this URL), also accounts opened, accounts funded, and commissions earned.
So if you enjoy having a punt, open an account and help both the Myeloma Foundation and the Knox Football Club.
