Knox Football Club Strategic Plan 2009-2013
A plan for the ongoing prosperity and development of the Knox Football Club The Knox Football Club is made up of a Senior, Reserve, Colts & Vets teams. It shares the ground and its facilities with the Knox Junior football club and Knox Gardens cricket club. The club elects a committee to run the club and be accountable to its members for: The executive, through the president, delegate responsibility for day-to-day operations to the committee and club volunteers. Members are encouraged to review the plan and contribute to its further development. The Plan is: Projects: Not in priority order. Analysis-The current position. We are in a good financial position, with a strong reliable team and a good core of helpers. Much has been achieved by the good relationship between the junior & senior football clubs & the cricket club. This needs to be fostered on a continual basis. Significantly changing social standards are creating new expectations of all our members. We need to take a strong stance on matters such as violence, illicit drugs and alcohol abuse. Past success will not necessarily guarantee future success. The environment is changing and many of the challenges facing us will be influenced by global economic changes. We need to protect and promote our brand as the Knox Football club at every opportunity. Preamble
