Aiming not only to consolidate its position in the higher division, but to play finals, the club performed very well in its first year. Both Seniors and Reserves mixed it with the seasoned performers, only to fall short in the last game of the home and away round of making the final four. A great effort, if not unrewarding, with the Seniors beating allcomers except eventual premiers Donvale.
